How To Use This Fence Calculator.

Enter length of fence in feet, length of board in feet.
Enter number of board slats between posts. Enter cost of board and post.
This calculator is based on a fence where the boards butt together on the center
of the post.
If the boards are butted against the side of the post, the calculation
is different.
Example when butted on the side of the post.
With 8 ft. boards, and 4 inch posts, a foot of board less is required every 3 posts.
Every 192 feet. one section of boards less is required, which means less boards are
required.
Go to the next higher even number in the calculations.
