How to use this MPG calculator.
At the fuel pump, when filling up, reset trip odometer.
On your next fill-up, record kilometers driven, amount of US gallons
to fill tank, and cost to fuel up. Reset odometer for next time. Later enter
these figures into the calculator at Shebang, and compute your vehicles gas
mileage and cost per mile. If you have a wireless device that will access the internet,
access Shebang, and check your MPG (Imperial) right at the service station. Park
away from the pumps when checking your MPG, so not to cause a static with your device,
or delay other customers. Try changing your driving habits and see if this improves your
vehicles gas mileage. Try using different brands of fuel and see if this improves your
MPG. Try using synthetic oil on your next oil change and see if this improves your
MPG. For interest sake, compare winter mileage to summer mileage. Compare
MPG of two vehicles in the family, find out which is the most economical
to drive. When your MPG drops check the vehicle's tire pressure,

Tips to Improve MPG
Check tire air pressure regularly,
low air pressure reduces gas mileage.
A well tuned engines uses less fuel. Driving
at constant speeds improves gas mileage. Coast
up to a red light, rather than speeding, and then braking
Change or clean the air filter regularly, a plugged air
cleaned robs gas mileage. Start up smoothly
when accelerating for best gas mileage.

Higher speeds
