Our History

Firepoint Kennels was officially registered in 2005 with the goal of producing quality companions for field or show.

There are many different ideas as to what makes the ideal shorthair. Some prefer the beautiful show dog, while others prefer the driven field dog. Personally, we believe the greatest trait of the German Shorthaired Pointer is it's versatility. Regardless of your preferences, if you look hard enough you will find a dog to suit your needs.

Our carefully planned breeding program is designed to provide sound, healthy puppies to loving homes whether for hunting, showing, obedience or companionship.

Versatile Hunting Dogs

Our dogs are used for showing, hunting and just to keep us smiling. Many of our dogs are CKC Champion show dogs and have achieved at least the level of FDJ in Field Test competitions. Please feel free to look around and drop us and email if you have any questions.
