The Land Cruisers that drove off Toyota production lines in the early 1960s are world-renown as Japan's trademark cross-country vehicle. And original-model FJ40s are still popular today, traversing rough terrain in countries across the globe. I'm just one of the old Land Cruiser crowd, driving around Canada in a late-model 1966 wagon.
