Introduction:
Recreational folk dancing is great exercise,
relaxing, educational and fun.
It is one of those rare activities that can be enjoyed by people
of all ages.
Over the past 20 years, Calgary Folkdance Fridays has been
teaching
traditional dances from around the world (and a few that
aren't). Our traditional
current selection consists of over 250 different dances taught
by instructors who
donate their time, expertise and enthusiasm for folk dancing.
Anyone can learn to folk dance. No special training is required;
just wear
comfortable non-floor marking shoes.
You don't even need to bring a partner. Come out for a night of
dancing and meet
a new group of friends.

The Croatian Heritage Society Centre
#102, 2845 23rd Street N.E.

pay a $7.00 drop-in fee
Teens always welcome free of charge!

the fun and get some great aerobic exercise too!!
