We are located close to such fine restaurants as the

The Saanich Peninsula's award winning wineries Chalet Estate Vineyard, Starling Lane Winery & Marley Farm Winery are a leisurely country drive from our B&B, as are the world famous Butchart Gardens, the Butterfly Gardens, The Centre of the Universe, Horticulture Centre of the Pacific and the many other attractions in the area. We are only a short 10 minute drive to downtown Victoria, where Craigdarroch Castle, the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, the British Columbia Legislature Buildings, Miniature World, the Royal London Wax Museum, the Royal British Columbia Museum & Historic Market Square are all located within a short walking distance of each other. Easy and direct transit service via the BC Transit System to and from downtown and/or the Saanich Peninsula is conveniently located on the next corner from our B&B. For a bit of history, other sites to see include the Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites and CFB Esquimalt Naval & Military Museum, or take one of the historic walking tours in the downtown area with Victoria Bobby Walking Adventures and, featuring ghostly walks, Discover The Past Walking Tours. Victoria, known as the "City of Gardens", has a number of spectacular gardens for your enjoyment. Whether it's the ravishing floral splendor of spring and summer, the glorious autumn colors or twinkling light displays over the holiday season, a relaxing stroll through the Abkhazi Garden, Finnerty Gardens at the University of Victoria, Government House Gardens, Hatley Park National Historic Site at Royal Roads University Botanical Garden or Beacon Hill Park will surely delight the senses. If you are traveling to Vancouver Island by ferry through Canada you can use BC Ferries & from the United States Washington State Ferries, the Coho Ferry, or the Victoria Clipper. For any additional information that may assist you in planning your vacation to Victoria, Festivals and Events for Vancouver Island, Tourism Victoria & the City of Victoria are just three sites that provide excellent information. For those travellers interested in venturing north on Vancouver Island, Seaview House in Sayward is the place to go. Angie and Paul are able to provide a nice place to sleep, and also the experience of a lifetime. Enjoy viewing wildlife and scenic vistas as well as learning wildlife photography from Paul, a professional photographer from England during your stay. Victoria has retained it's British tradition for gardens, high tea and quaint charm. Something exciting is always happening year round to suit everyone's taste.
