The Buying Process
(Follow these 6 easy steps to a trouble-free, enjoyable purchase)
1. Select a knowledgeable, experienced Realtor® with whom you feel comfortable.
-have him/her explain the process to you in advance i.e.
SELECTING, QUALIFYING, SEARCHING, OFFERING, NEGOTIATING, & CLOSING
2. Visit your Bank to be qualified AND THEN use your Realtor’s® Mortgage Broker.
-a mortgage broker
DOES NOT cost you any money; he may save you money
-a broker can very often negotiate a better rate; remember you bring your bank one
mortgage; the broker can bring many mortgages and therefore has more leverage
CASH + MORTGAGE = PURCHASE PRICE
3. Search for a property by R.E. Board sub-areas; by price; and special criteria.
-all properties are not advertised; however, they will be in the computer.
4. OFFER 5. NEGOTIATE 6. CLOSE
