My Greatgrandfather who was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain was shipped to the Philippines by his father for the moral reason not to court his own first cousin. That resulted in him eventually marrying my Filipina native greatgranmother. My Grandma is the second to the four broods that resulted in this union whereas started a "mestizo" (half-breed) family.
