REINHOLD THOMS. On June 9, 1965, at the family residence, 672 Machray Ave., Reinhold Thoms, aged 78 years, beloved husband of Katherine Thoms. Mr. Thoms was born in Germany, coming to Canada in 1889. He formerly farmed at Dominion City, Manitoba, moving to Winnipeg 40 years ago. He was a carpenter with Commonwealth Construction Co., retiring in 1956. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William Doern (Bella), Winnipeg; five sons, Henry and Gordon of Winnipeg, Harold of Tampa, Florida, Roland of Port Coquitlam, B.C., Raymond of Hamilton, Ontario; 19 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Mrs. L. Stein of Elsinore, California, Mrs. H. Hahn, Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. A. Steffan, Winnipeg, Mrs. C. Schlitzer, Rochester, New York. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Saturday in the Bardal Funeral Home, Sherbrook at William. Reverend F. J. Sauve officiating, assisted by Mr. Theodore Sauve. Burial in Garry Memorial Park."

MRS. MARY THOMS, 65, of 651 Elgin avenue, died Saturday in Grace hospital. Born in Poland, she had lived in Emerson, Man., for 40 years before moving to Winnipeg 22 years ago. Surviving are her husband Reinhold, one daughter Mrs. William Doren and five sons Henry, Gordon, Harold, Roland and Raymond.
