ANN KEARNS

Ann Angus Kearns was born June 17, 1919, on the farm north of Ethel ton. She received her education at Taylorside, Kearns, and Ethelton High School. She graduated as a nurse in 1941 from Saskatoon City Hospital.

In 1942, she married Robert Gibson, Staff Sergeant in the Dental Corps of the Canadian Army. Of this union three children were born: Bonnie Lou, married Robert Wohleschlegel, living in Boise, Idaho; Robert, and Gordon live in Burnaby, B.C. Ann's husband, Robert Gibson, died March 1956.

Ann was very athletic, enjoyed many sports. In later years, she was an active social worker.

In 1959, Ann married Claude Dennison of Spence's Bridge, B.C. and later moved to Burnaby.

Ann passed away May 8, 1974 and Claude in March 1976.
