Bubbles Bead Fringe 

I think it was seeing an image of balloons at a party that started the process of this design. I was aiming for that sense of celebration and playfulness, and judging from people's response to this fringe, I must have succeeded. I felt happy the whole time I was beading: it cheered me up just to look at the beautiful colours and whimsical pattern. I've been in love with this fringe from the start.
I think this was the fringe that started me playing with "bellydancers' spaghetti." If you scoop up the strands, mix them up, loop them around, it looks like spaghetti but oh so gorgeous! I've spent a lot of carefree moments playing happily with the bright sparklies. Now you know. ;-)

The 41 inches* of this beaded fringe took 150 hours to make.
