Navel Gazing is seeking submissions:

We would love to receive anything that reflects the beauty and spirit of bellydance or of women in general: anything relating to bellydance, women, and spirituality in a positive light.

This is a broad area, reaching from body image to middle eastern music, health issues to current costume fashions, personal stories to cultural analysis, techniques to book reviews, and so on.

Written: articles, quotes, reviews, poetry, letters, questions, and other writings. Prefer Word for Mac.

Graphics: cover images (full-size), drawings, sketches, doodles, B&W photos. Please note that strong blacks and high contrast images reproduce best. Prefer JPEG, TIFF, or GIF. Please send the original size, with a resolution of 300 dpi, as this is for print.

Information: events, festivals, shows, etc.

Please title any submission; include a brief bio and contact information. Send as an attachment in an email, please, and mark Navel Gazing Submission in the subject field.
