Bill MacDonald
Bill graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Education. In 1989, he completed a Diploma of Physiotherapy from Wolverhampton School of Physiotherapy in Wolverhampton, England. Bill completed all requirements to become a Resident Canadian Academy Manipulative Therapist (RCAMT) and completed the Part A manual therapy exam in 1998. Courses taken include Kinetic Control Movement Dysfunction of the lumbar spine, SI joint, pelvis, cervical spine and shoulder. Bill has fifteen years of experience in both hospital (Lion's Gate) and private practice. His current case load includes work injuries, post-MVA injuries, orthopaedic (spinal and extremities) and sports. Bill's areas of interest include equestrian sports, swimming, and cycling. He has published in Dressage Today (2002) "Ask the Expert."
Susan Weston
Susan completed a Diploma of Physiotherapy from The Queen Elizabeth School of Physiotherapy in Birmingham, England in 1982. She spent the first 6 years of her career in the hospital setting before coming to Canada in 1988. Susan has completed all requirements to become a Resident Canadian Academy Manipulative Therapist (RCAMT) and completed the Part A manual therapy exam in 1999. She is qualified to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations (Roy Matheson system). Courses completed include kinetic control focusing on treatment of muscle imbalances of the lumbar spine, SI joint, pelvis, cervical spine and shoulder. Susan treats a wide variety of conditions including work injuries, post-motor vehicle accident injuries, orthopaedic (spinal and extremities) and sports. Her interests include cross country mountain biking, triathlons, and skiing.
Shannon Blackburn
Shannon graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Utah State University. In 1994, she graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Shannon completed all requirements to become a Resident Canadian Academy Manipulative Therapist (RCAMT) and completed the Part A manual therapy exam in 1998. She completed all requirements of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy (Spinal Manipulation (FCAMT) in 2002. Courses completed include Kinetic Control Movement Dysfunction of the lumbar spine, SI joint, pelvis, cervical spine and shoulder, post-MVA cervical dysfunction, and exercise prescription for cervical spine dysfunction. Shannon treats a wide variety of conditions including work injuries, post-motor vehicle accident injuries, orthopaedic (spinal and extremities) and sports injuries. She played fastball for 4 years in the NCAA Division 1 in the United States and national and international fastball in Canada. Her interests include any outdoor activities - running, camping, mountain biking, slo-pitch and travelling.
Anita Trip
Anita graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and worked full time in the Occupational Rehabilitation Program. She then worked part time while completing her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia in 2001.
From 2001 to present she has worked full time in the acute care setting with the goal of advancing in the continuing education program of manual therapy. Currently she has completed Level III and is working towards the Part A Exam, likely in 2007. Anita treats a variety of injuries whether motor vehicle accident, work-related or related
sports or leisure/daily activities. Anita participates in a variety of fitness activities at the gym including spinning, aerobics, yoga, kickboxing classes, and weight/strength and core training. In the summer she enjoys cross-country mountain biking and swimming.
Norman Tinkham

Norman graduated from the University of British Columbia in Physical Therapy in 1995 and has completed Level III in manual therapy. Norm treats a wide variety of injuries including motor vehicle and work related, sports injuries, with a special interest in treating running injuries. He has a long history of involvement in long distance running and previously represented Canada 5 times at the World Cross Country Championships. Norm also coaches soccer for U7 girls and U9 boys at the Golden Ears United Soccer Club.
CarolAnn Christie
CarolAnn graduated from the University of British Columbia in
1998 with Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. The first three
years of her career were spent working in an Occupational
Rehabilitation Program. She also provided acute care treatment
and active treatment programs for individuals who were post-MVA.
In 2000 she took a temporary leave of absence from her professional
career while on maternity leave. CarolAnn is currently working as a
part-time consultant at Golden Ears Physiotherapy in both the acute
care and work conditioning settings. She has completed her Level II
in manual therapy as well as kinetic control for the lumbar spine.
Her professional interests include assisting individuals achieve
their rehabilitation goals of return to sport, work, or alternative
leisure activities. CarolAnn's personal interests include child
development, running, aerobics, interior and exterior design.
