Art for the sake of consciousness;
Art for the sake of life;
Art for the sake of the Self.
My
approach to art has been directly influenced by psychologist, CG
Jung, and the spiritual teachers, Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. I
refer to my paintings as soulscape art as they represent images from the collective unconscious,
the realm of soul as understood by all ancient peoples. The purpose of my work is
to access and concentrate on deep layers of the psyche, and to render images discovered there
into art that is personally and collectively relevant to our times. The intent is to enhance both consciousness and life.
