This bar has a lever that will spread the forks of the tow bar to clear the wheel pant, but will also clamp down and lock in position, for maximum security while pulling. Trailer hitch can be replaced with a handle.

It took about 1.5 hours to design & build this towbar.

Every builder has tools that are his favorite, that he wouldn't be without. There are many that are standard, essential tools, which I won't bother to list, however there are a few non-standard that I will pass on that have made life easier for me.

All specialized aircraft tools are from Avery Tools who deserve high praise for their exceptional level of service & quality. Most other tools are from good old Canadian Tire.

I will add more pics later.

This easel on wheels has been a great time saver. All plans stack on it and I just have to wheel it to where I am working. Beats walking over to look at the wall.

There are many styles of small parts organizers available, but these type where recommended by another builder and have proven to be invaluable for rivets, etc. Better than any styles I've used previously.

12volt cordless drill battery, used as a convenient power supply for testing circuits, moving trim servos, etc.

An adapter allows a deburring bit to be used in an inexpensive cordless screwdriver. Do not use a drill for this. Deburring is the most monotonous task in building an airplane, but this tools speed it up considerably.
