The first Triple-S day included Simon, David and Jen and the second Triple-S day included Simon, Doug, Rob and Gerry. So somewhere in there is at least a new record...two Triple-S days in one year! (And doesn't that add up to Sextuplet-S for Simon? He always did like...oh never mind.)

The First Triple-S Day
Amazing weather for the skiing, but our legs were feeling the burn
(maybe we should do this more than once a year. Oh wait, Simon
already does.)

The sailing was perfect -- nine knots of onshore breeze and sunny skies. There's nothing better. Except maybe having everyone together on the same day :-) |

The Second Triple-S Day
For the Second Triple-S Day (3S2?) the weather started out threatening, and deteriorated into true Vancouver rain. Rob said "this is the perfect Triple-S weather...anyone can golf, ski and sail in nice weather, but this really separates the men from the boys." Pictured on the golf course are Doug, Gerry and Rob. |

Thankfully, it was cold enough to be snowing, not raining, on Cypress Mountain, and there was lots of fresh stuff on the slopes. Best of all, no one seriously injured themselves, no one had to make any cell-phone conference calls, and Rob's boots didn't actually disintigrate until he took them off. Still, it makes him a fine candidate for our new "Broken Boot Award." Left to right, Simon, Gerry, Rob and Doug.
