It's no secret that I'm a bit of a motor-head, despite the fact I commute by foot and try to minimize my consumption of fossil fuel (call me complicated :-). Below is a picture of me with my collection of toys (Jelly Bean, the Red Rocket, and Thumper).

The VW bus is actually Jenifer's, but when it needs work, I'm the one who wields the wrenches, and anyways, in a marriage, what's mine is mine and what's hers is mine, right?
The idea of this page is to give me a place to share my latest projects, share information (ask me anything about BMW 2002's, the info is still all packed in my attic), and spread a little bit of Fahrfernugen.
Because similar vehicles fail in similar ways, I always find it useful to hear how other people have fixed common problems. Below are a couple of things I've had to do to my vehicles, that fellow BMW or VW owners might find useful. I take no responsibility for messes made by friends getting in too deep :-)

Finally, so that this page is more than just a big construction zone, here are some links to some good car sites (Note that these take you out of the Hill House, using a new browser window. Close the new window to return here):
