Esquimalt is the home of Canada's Pacific Fleet. CFB Esquimalt was established as a base for the Royal Navy in the mid 1800's.	The harbour is clean enough that it's common to see wildlife like seals and otters, and birds such as this heron.	The Fisgard lighthouse marks one side of the harbour mouth. It's now a national historic site.
