Master Tatsuo Shimabuku
This portion of our Dojo's website is dedicated to
Master Tatsuo Shimabuku (1908-1975).
It is through the memories and the teachings of Master
Shimabuku's students that we feel a great connection to
him.
Sensei Norm Losier's Isshin Ryu lineage
is through Sensei A.J. Advincula, a first-generation
student of Master Shimabuku.
We are grateful for Sensei Advincula's dedication to,
and respect for, Master Shimabuku, and for his ability
to pass these qualities to his students.
Remember Master Shimabuku, and the dedication he had in
giving each of us what was dear to his heart ... Isshin
Ryu.
