Birthdate: May 17/08
We have a litter of 4 ruddy kittens! 2 boys & 2 girls!
Update (May 18): Kittens are nursing well & gaining weight. Mom seems to be enjoying
her kittens & this is one content little family.

Update (May 23): I am happy to report that all the kittens are doing very well & are
all gaining weight at a good rate.
Available kittens: There are still kittens available in this litter.

Update (June 1): Kittens are growing like crazy! They all have their eyes open & are
just adorable. They are starting to walk a bit rather than always crawling & they enjoy rolling over & wrestling with one another.
Here are some photos of the girls:
Update (June 22): The kittens are eating kibble well now & are very eager to explore their surroundings. They are just starting to climb their kitty tower but mostly they just run & play. They also love spending time with people. It is getting to be a challenge to get all 4 in a photograph together!

Our cats are a part of our family and we want your kitten to settle in
quickly to its new home and be a welcome part of your loving family so we
spend a lot of time socializing the kittens. Right from birth they are
handled on a daily basis and "raised underfoot".
Our stud has half of a room to himself. This is
not only for kitten safety but also so that our breedings are all planned.
We can space out breedings so that the girls are given lots of time to rest
between litters and we know the breeding dates and therefore due dates.

We keep our kittens with mom until they are 12 weeks of age. This
gives them lots of time to stay on mom's nutritious milk without rushing them
through their normal development stages. Kittens have a lot to learn - mom
teaches them about the litter box and how to behave. Littermates teach the
kittens how to play nicely, just like puppies! Biting too hard results in
the game ending so the kittens are constantly teaching each other how to play
appropriately. Also, when your kitten goes home at 12 weeks both sets of kitten
vaccines will already be done as well as routine deworming.
