The The house is located in a dead-end "close" and backs on a park that has a spur of the Lochside / Galloping Goose bicycle trail - that goes to Victoria and on to Sooke - running through it. The house is in walking distance to the shopping, cultural and dining amenities of Sidney-by-the-Sea, and is in walking distance to the marinas in Tsehum Harbour. The BC Ferry terminal at Swartz Bay with connections to the Gulf Islands and Vancouver is close by, and the Anacortes ferry to Anacortes, Washington leaves from Sidney. The house is convenient to the airport.

It has been newly refinished and has large, bright windows with views of the adjacent park. A woodburning fireplace gives the living room a cozy atmosphere.

The pleasantly furnished dining room looks out over the park. It has a fully equipped and recently renovated adjoining kitchen with stove, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Laundry facilities (washer and dryer) are located downstairs. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, one guest bedroom has a twin bed and the other guest room has a convertible sofa.
