XC Race Bike: 1995 Rocky Mountain Hammer equipped with a Shimano XT gruppo (except rear hub), Marzocchi z.2 Atom Bomb fork.

Road Race Bike: Cannondale (Sorry, forgot the model, will get sometime.).

1998 was Matt's first racing season with Team UBC. Throughout this season he learned a lot about racing, and about himself, with respect to training, goal setting, and potential. He managed to survive being hit by a car in July, which forced him to miss two weeks of riding, and three races. Matt truly loves racing, and he knows how to work hard and have fun at the same time. His results in 1998 were very consistent, finishing in the top 20 most of the time.

North Shore for DH, Vancouver Island for road, and Prince George and Vancouver Island for XC.

To move into sport (Done! -Brian), and if he has enough spare time, cat IV.

2 hrs in the gym twice a week, LSD rides, and club mountain bike rides. In January Knight St., and team road rides 2 times a week.
