Vancouver Scottish Fiddle
Club members meet one Sunday a month for jamming and workshops. These are
fun sessions with the purpose of learning new tunes and having a chance
to play together. The tunes taught are Scottish, Cape Breton or Irish.
The teaching in the workshops
is by ear in the traditional manner. (Printed music is included at end
of the workshop.) Each club session consists of a workshop and jam.
The club is open to all ages and levels of players. Other instruments
are also welcome.
The club was formed in Vancouver, Canada in the fall of 1998 and is
led by Shona Le Mottee.
