Employee share ownership programs (ESOPs) can help inventors rapidly build new businesses by attracting and motivating skilled employees and partners while substantially reducing upfront costs. ESOPs are a form of early-stage financing. Companies with employee ownership programs have better productivity, 95% higher profit margins and 27% lower staff turnover. An ESOP helped Cisco Systems go from startup to a half Trillion dollar company in ten years. Presented by B.C. IN ONTARIO Nov 1, 2000. Brantford, Ontario. LINK Inventors' Club Meeting Bob Higgins and Bob Huehn explained the "Projects Program" whereby teams of inventors work together to create winners. Frank Cianfarani explained how his company, Automation Systems (www.automationsystems.com), makes laser equipment than can scan an object and create a drawing of it, or in some cases create a copy of the object. The equipment is used in such diverse applications as repairing circuit boards for which drawings are not available, or making engraved signs. Niel Tranmer showed samples of engravings that his company creates with the laser system. William Gray presented info on Brantford business and a picture of James Hillier.
