Bio:
Siblings Erin, Kendra and Noah James have been playing together in the Jacobean String Trio for over a decade. Erin is a graduate of the UBC School of Music where she studied violin with Andrew Dawes and Jasper Wood. Kendra is a viola student of Paul Coletti at the Colburn School of Music in Los Angeles, California. While currently studying with Lee Duckles, Noah will travel to the University of Ottawa in the Fall to begin his post-secondary cello studies with Paul Marleyn.
All three are accomplished musicians on their own instruments, performing throughout Canada and in the United Kingdom, China, and the United States. The trio has won numerous awards at Vancouver Kiwanis Festivals and has been coached by world-renowned musicians, Gerald Stanick and Walter A. Mony.
