Noah James was born in PEI, Canada in 1990. He began to study cello at the age of five with John Doerksen. Noah has attended the Victoria Summer Strings Academy and Domaine Forget in Quebec. He has been co-principal cellist of the Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra for the past year. While currently studying with Lee Duckles, Noah will travel to the University of Ottawa in the Fall to begin his post-secondary cello studies with Paul Marleyn.
