Went to Mayfair Public School/Bedford Road Collegiate / U. of S. for Business certificate

Started learning the Bagpipes in 1946, celebrated his 62nd anniversary of his first parade May 24. 2009.

Joined the Saskatoon Light Infantry  Sept 19, 1948, served 39 ½ years in reserve army

Retiring in 1987 as CWO  and Pipe Major of the North Saskatchewan  Regimental
Pipe Band. (Still Pipe Major )
