Saturday Oct. 16th found all three Vancouver Island Councils meeting at the Morpeth Hall in Nanaimo to greet six Companions as Super Excellent Masters.

Our afternoon began with a fine luncheon which was prepared by the Companions of Adoniram Council, with a special mention for IC Doug Paugh.  Our Most Illustrious Grand Master, MIC Don Russell cut the cake assisted by  RIC Don Leischner, GIG for Vancouver Island,  The Council of SEMs was opened by Acme Council and MIC Russell and his suite entered the Council Vault and accorded Grand Honours. 

Our MIGM introduced his suite and  the assembly got to the work for the day.  The various scenes were presented in costume by each of the Councils in turn, and the final charge was given by RIC Jim Whyte.  RIC Richard Armitage conducted  the Circle of Friendship the assembly was closed by Alpha Council.
