We are very excited to add such an amazing ster mare into our program. Polina's
bloodlines are the best of the best in dressage breeding. Her sire, Olympic Lancet, has
won several international dressage competitions and was the ambassador of the Dutch
Olympic team in Athens 2004, then ridden by Imke Schellekens-Bartels. There, the pair came
in 11th in the individuals and 4th in the team.
The offspring of Lancet were very successful in the last years. Six sons of Lancet were
selected to go to the 2nd ring in Den Bosch (Holland). They were all top dressage
horses who also turned out to be very good jumpers.
A son of Lancet : Patron ( Lancet x Dageraad x Ubis) became the winner of the VSN
(Vereniging Sportpaarden Nederland). Johan Hamminga awarded Patron with a 9 under
saddle. Those very good results of Lancet are the result of excellent bloodlines in his
pedigree.
The sire of Lancet is Wenzel I ( Wörmann x Matador) and is on the top ranking of dressage
bloodlines. Out of this W- bloodline are the Grand Prix dressage horses Welcome ( World
Cup 1 x Grande) and Weyden (Western Star x Grande). On the dam”s bloodline is Anika ,
the full sister to Argentan I and Argentan II. Argentan I is wellknown as the father of
the Oldenburger stallion Argentinus.

Polina's dam, Enalina, hails from some of the most sought
after bloodlines for dressage - Doruto x Amor and her line is full of predicates. The
Doruto x Amor combination is known for producing top dressage horses and this combination
shows up numerous times in the top 250 dressage producing mares in Holland. The #6 mare on
the list is Olympic Barbria who is a Doruto x Amor as well as her sister Gelbria who is
#10 on the list. In the top 250 dressage producing mares the bloodlines of Doruto as sire
or damsire shows up in 6 out of the 10 top mares. Izebria was a National Champion at the
UTV in Holland. The mare Olympic Barbria (Doruto x Amor) was twice on the Dutch Olympic
Dressage team.
Doruto
was the leading Dressage Sire in the World Breed Rankings for 1998/1999 for his best
achieving descendants.
Polina was imported from Holland as a yearling by DG Bar Ranch.
Polina has had 2 Contango offspring, a Contester and a Ferro. She foaled a lovely
Olivi filly in 2005 and is in foal to the legendary Feiner Stern for 2006.
