We wish everyone a Merry Christmas

November 10
Lianda's daughter in Holland, Rianda (Farrington x Lianda) (sportname Riant), received her Keur predicate through her amazing performance in dressage. Congratulations to Clementine Voest. Rianda is doing such a great job at 4th level and again she won a show. In October she placed first twice with great scores. She is a fabulous mare (just like her awesome mom)!

October 6
The final 2005 KWPN foal line up is as follows:

Metall x Sacha (Olympic Ahorn)
Riverman x Laura (Wellington)
Wellington x Lianda (Flemmingh)

We can hardly wait next spring!

Happy Thanksgiving

September 22
Well we knew this day was coming but it didn't make it any easier. Zacorcha, our pride and joy, left for her new home with Dr. Vickey Banks of Lone Willow Farm in Ontario. Zacorcha has such charisma and took a really big tug on our hearts.  She carries some of the absolute best bloodlines, Olympic Concorde x Olympic Ahorn, as shown during the Masters at Spruce Meadows this past month and we can't wait to see her in the top ranks with Jennifer Ramsey in the future.  She one remarkable filly!

September 12
What another great year at Spruce Meadows.  We really enjoyed being able to meet all the wonderful people that dropped by the KWPN-NA/WPN booth and of course the competition was world class!

And once again another Concorde comes out on top! Great job done by Beezie Madden and Conquest II (Concorde) on winning the Molson Cup 1.45m Jumper.

We can't wait to see Zacorcha in a few years!

September 11
Well...Another Concorde has done it again.  A 4th place finish by Beezie Madden and Conquest II(Concorde) in the BP Cup 1.30 - 2.00m.  Also an excellent job with Robert Smith and his stallion Marius Claudius (Concorde) winning 4th in the BMO Financial Group Nations Cup 1.30 - 2.20m jumper riding for Great Britian.

September 10
Wow...Concorde is just an amazing sire. Excellent job done by Eric Lamaze and Pulque (Concorde) in winning the Phillips, Hager & North 1.40 - 1.45m Jumper.   Also good top 12 finish by Beezie Madden and Conquest II (Concorde) in the Encana Cup 1.30 - 2.20m.  Also great job with Mark Leyton and his mare Nicole (Concorde) winning third in the ATCO Noise Management 1.25m - 1.30 m Jumper.

We should be in the KWPN-NA/WPN booth Saturday and Sunday at various times.  Stop in if you have a chance.

No matter what the weather Spruce Meadows is just a fabulous time.  Great people, Great horses, who could ask for more!!!

We were in the KWPN / NA/WPN booth for a lot of the day before heading over Anderson's to watch the free jumping event.  Great event!

August 27
We are also proud to co-sponsor with LaPrairieAire Warmbloods the Top Dutch Horse at the 2004 Endless Summer Dressage Classic this weekend.  We like to help recognize the great Dutch horses competing today.  Good luck to everyone at the show!

August 26
We have some extremely EXCITING NEWS to share with everyone!!!  Lianda is pregnant and in 2005 we are expecting a top notch foal with the following amazing bloodlines:

Wellington Keur x Flemmingh Pref

Wellington has been deceased for a few years but we are very fortunate that we could still attain his frozen semen.  Our absolutely amazing Elite Sport mare Laura is also by Wellington. We can hardly wait for this foal next year!!!

August 25
We have added to the sales a wonderful filly, Zariena, from friends of ours in Holland. Check this great filly out on the Sales page.

August 6
Congratulations to Irene and Ron Hill of IronHill Stables on the exciting purchase of Western Lady, VDL Arctic x Bojinksy. This filly is truly beautiful with a fabulous temperament and some great bloodlines to ensure a future full of success.

We had the pleasure of taking Western Lady to her new home at IronHill Stables and we must say it is an absolutely stunning place. It is a dream haven for a rider. Beautiful grass pens and pastures, top notch barn and arena, and an outdoor ring just waiting for horses hooves.

We are now sold out for this year but have some fabulous Dutch prospects coming in 2005 - check out our Breeding Program.

July 29
Our jewel Zacorcha, Olympic Concorde x Olympic Ahorn, is now sold to Dr. Vickey Banks of Lone Willow Farm in Ontario. Zacorcha is beyond words for her beauty and talent. It was a very hard decision to sell her but her new owners convinced us of what a fabulous home she will have. When ready she will be the ride of top jumper rider Jennifer Ramsey and then be used for breeding as well after her competition career.

They wanted one exquisite filly and Zacorcha is just that!

We are sad about selling her but at the same time very excited about her promising Grand Prix and Olympic future that she was bred to excel at.

July 22
We went back and forth on deciding whether to breed or compete Laura, our Elite Sport mare. She competed to Z2 and schooled higher movements in Holland before importation. But in the end we decided we wanted one more foal from her now and thus we bred her to the 2001 KWPN Performance Test Champion, Riverman. She is confirmed in foal for a May 2005 foal. This should be a very exciting cross. Riverman is a multi-talented, beautiful modern type stallion with some of the best bloodlines available: Kenwood, Goodtimes, Nimmerdor, Purioso, Voltaire and Notaris.

June 10
Sacha
has been checked and is in foal to Métall for a April 2005 foal.  We are very excited about this cross.  The foals by Métall are long-lined and show a lot of race and quality. They have a lot of front and beautiful heads, the movements are roomy and tactful, there is a lot of power in the hind and the foreleg is beautifully elevated and set forwards. Métall had the highest index of all stallions in Holland 2002.

We have some wonderful new photos of  Western Lady in her yearling year. She shows great promise as a future competitor and broodmare.  Western Lady is for sale.

May 5
After much discussion we have decided to sell Zacorcha. It is always so hard to sell these phenomenal foals - we would love to keep them all.  Sacha produces such jewels. Zacorcha has the most incredible canter - the type you just can't wait to ride.  She has the quality and 'Olympic' pedigree to back her all the way. This filly, with no doubt, will take someone to the top!!!  There is short videoclip of Zacorcha at 1 1/2 weeks old.

There was much demand for Zarcorcha's incredible 1/2 sister, Weltina, who has already sold.  Sacha gives her foals that extra 'magical touch'.

April 25
We have taken our Ster Flemmingh mare Lianda to be bred to Wellington Keur. Lianda has produced a PAVO Cup competitor, Riant Ster, with Farrington. Seeing as Wellington is Farrington's sire we expect a powerhouse from this foal!  We have updated Wellington's information Check out this amazing sire. There is no doubt why he is a Keur stallion!

Zacorsha
She is already posing as a STAR!

April 18
Sacha has give us another Dutch treasure! We have been waiting for this foal for sometime and we are absolutely thrilled to announce the arrival of our new beautiful Olympic Concorde x Olympic Ahorn filly on April 18 at 10:35 pm. She is a very tall, strong, dark bay filly with the prettiest delicate head. She is so athletic that she was up in 10 minutes cantering around her stall and ready for some action - poor mom running behind her everywhere.  Pictures coming soon....

April 14
Congratulations to K Marit of Marit Stables on the purchase of the Canadian Warmblood gelding Flash Dance.  Kerri is a very successful hunter/jumper trainer and coach. Many of Kodachrome's offspring are very successful in the hunter/jumper ring as far away as Florida including Kodachrome himself.  Flash Dance is sure to get noticed in the hunter/jumper ring in the years to come!

April 8
Congratulations to Wanda Greene and family on their purchase of the Oldenburg gelding Cheval.  Cheval carries some excellent proven jumping bloodlines and is sure to succeed in the jumper ring in the future.  We are very excited for him to go to such a wonderful home!

Sacha is really holding out on us this year with her foaling...we are still waiting patiently!!!

March 30
Congratulations to Shannon Carroll on the purchase of Weltina.  Weltina will have a wonderful home that will fulfill her phenomenal talents in the dressage ring and later breeding!  Weltina is a Dutch treasure.

We are waiting for her dam, Sacha, to foal a 1/2 brother or sister to Weltina any day now!   We are lacking much sleep watching the foal monitors all night :)

February 20
Great News again!!! From the NAWPN news "In an overfull Brabant Hall in Holland, Concorde was honored as Horse of the Year 2003 out of 10 nominated horses...The votes were overwhelmingly for Concorde...Concorde looked as though he understood that the whole celebration was for him"

Olympic Concorde also has the great honor of being #5 in the WBFSH Top Ten Jumping Stallions of 2003. He is ahead of such greats as Ramiro Z and Galoubet A. He is also the youngest stallion in the top 10!

Sacha is getting very close to her due date and looks very pregnant with her Concorde foal.

January 19
We have added short video clips for each of the horses we have for sale. The video requires Windows Media Player to view. Cheval's pictures and video have been updated this past weekend and he is quite amazing!
