The Story about Wisdom Teeth
Wisdom Teeth are actually no different than any other teeth in our mouths. These molar teeth usually erupt as a person reaches their late teen years. Unfortunately, most of us will encounter much discomfort as the teeth erupt between the ages of 17 - 25.
There is no need to remove wisdom teeth if
- you have enough space in your jaw to accommodate these molars
- you are able to access & cleanse these teeth (otherwise, decay will set in quickly.
If, however, your wisdom teeth are damaging or have the potential to damage the rest of your jaw, then you should have them removed.
Wisdom teeth should be removed if you meet one or more of the following conditions:
