White Filling Restorations
Composite, commonly known as white plastic restorations, can be used to restore most teeth. The greatest benefit of using composite restorations is, obviously, the natural esthetic results. Unfortunately, composite fillings are more costly & have a shorter life-span than the alternative materials. Recently, more and more patients are requesting composite fillings for their non-mercury content. However, there is little research to support the damaging effects of mercury in amalgam fillings.
