Two of my biggest supporters. My daughters Laura & Sabrina
In 1997 I ran as a Liberal Candidate in the West Kootenay Okanagan Riding of British Columbia, Canada. Although I was unsuccessful in my bid for election I learned a great deal. I also met a lot of hard working dedicated people. I will always appreciate the hard work and support that they gave me.

I know I didn't win myself but my Party did. I did not do too bad when you consider I had never been heard of in most of the riding prior to this election. I am just a working man I didn't have a lot of funds to throw at the campaign.
I may not have won the election but I won in other ways. More people should consider running for Politics rather than just complaining about what is being done to them by Politicians. Also more people should take the time to find out about the people who are running in their areas and get out and vote. But be sure and "vote smart."
