Since 2005, Jon and Rika have been featured on the CBC magazine show “North by Northwest”, (6-9am, Saturdays and Sundays, CBC Radio 1 in BC), hosted and produced by Sheryl McKay. The sessions, held one Sunday morning each month from 8 am to 9 am, have explored many aspects of BC’s traditional music cultures. Sheryl, Jon and Rika talk and sing about our province’s history, with songs generated from such occupations such as mining, logging, fishing and ranching.
