How do I make
reservations?
Call our Reservation office and speak to one of our helpful tour agents at (604)
688-7246, or at 1-800-663-1500. Or email us at tours@boatcruises.com
Can I hold a
reservation and pay for it the day of?
We do require full payment once you make a reservation, therefore payment would
need to be received right away with a credit card over the phone. If you would
prefer to pay by debit card or cash, please come to our tour office during business
hours and we would be more than happy to help you. If you have a large group,
payment options can be discussed.
What are your
business hours?
January through March, and November- Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 5:00
p.m.
April: 7 days a week 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
May 1st through October 31st: 7 days a week, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Please note these office hours may vary due to later night cruises, where the tour office will remain open until 9:30 p.m.
What payment
options do I have?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Debit and cash. Only company or
certified cheques are accepted.
What is Harbour
Cruise's refund policy?
Once a reservation has been made and paid for the cruise does become non-refundable,
and non-transferable to another date.
Where and when
do I pick up my tickets?
Your tickets will be waiting at the Harbour Cruise Marina on the day/evening
of your tour. The tour office is located right on the docks, in a permanently
moored vessel called the MV Hollyburn. Tour agents will be happy to serve you,
and advise you of which vessel you are sailing on.
Is there parking
available?
There is a parking lot located right above the Harbour Cruises Marina, at the
North End of Denman Street (at West Georgia). There is a parking meter in effect,
which will cost $6 for the evening or $3 for every 2 hours. The parking meter
accepts major credit cards and change.
Do you offer
a hotel pickup?
Unfortunately we do not offer a hotel pick up service, however you may contact
your concierge to arrange for taxi transportation.
How much
will a taxi cost me from my hotel to your marina?
From most downtown hotels, taxis will cost between $5 to $8 CDN. You should
ask the taxi driver to drop you off at the Harbour Cruises Marina located at
the North End of Denman Street. They will drop you off at the top of our marina
ramp.
How long will
it take me to get there from my hotel (in downtown)?
We are located in downtown, so it should not take you more than 5 to10 minutes
to travel here by vehicle.
Is the vessel
wheelchair accessible?
Our vessels are wheelchair possible, meaning that wheelchairs are able to fit
on the vessel, but there are no wheelchair accessible washrooms.
What should we wear on your Dinner Cruise?
The Sunset Dinner Cruise is semi-formal, so wear something that you would put
on to go to a nice restaurant. Our decks are fully heated, but there are outside
decks, so plan to bring a warm jacket of going outside.
Will I be seated
with people I do not know on the cruise?
Each party has their own table (similar to a restaurant) so you will not be
seated with other guests.
Can I request
special seating?
We do take seating requests at the time of your booking, however we do not guarantee
these requests. Our on-board staff has the final say in seating, and will make
every possible effort to accommodate your request.
Is the meal
(dinner and lunch cruise) served buffet style?
Yes, our lunch and dinner cruises are served buffet style. If you require help
with your plate going up and down stairs, our staff would be more than happy
to assist you.
Are beverages
included in the price for your cruises?
Coffee and Tea is included with your meal (for the lunch and dinner cruises).
Harbour Cruises is fully licensed, and has all other beverages for sale.
What if I am
a vegetarian or have special dietary needs?
We do have vegetarian options available for our Sunset Dinner Cruise and Luncheon
Cruise. If you have certain allergies, or dietary restrictions, please advise
our tour agents at the time of booking.
Do we still
set sail when it rains or snows?
Harbour Cruises sails in rain or snow. If there are extremely high winds or
extremely thick fog, our captains may make the decision to not sail if they
feel it is unsafe to do so. It is very rare where we need to cancel a tour due
to weather, but we will try to make every attempt to contact you should it occur.
Is smoking allowed
onboard?
Smoking is not allowed on-board the vessels, however we do have plenty of outside
decks that are available for smokers.
Is there
any age restrictions to your cruises?
Age restrictions occur on our party/dance cruises where you must bring I.D.
to show you are 19 years of age or older. These cruises include our Salsa, and
Caribbean Cruises.
