ABOUT WORTHYWORDS THEATRE:

Rhyme Rustler is a production of WorthyWords Theatre. Founded by Grant Paterson and Jim Dobbin, WorthyWords Theatre brings literature to theatrical life. Productions are created through an inventive fusion of poetry, music, and theatre. They celebrate the immediacy of language, and give the audience a visceral experience of poetry, taking the written word from the silence of the page to full vigour on the stage.

Besides Rhyme Rustler, WorthyWords has produced a number of other projects, including plays, dramatic presentations of poetry and recordings. Recently, with pianist Peter Jancewicz, they created and performed Intimations of Immortality, an evening of poetry and piano music from the Romantic Era. Another recent production was An Evening with the Victorians, music and literature from the Victorian era, with actor Maureen Jones and pianist/organist Jeff Jones. The next WorthyWords Theatre project focusses on Shakespearean and Elizabethan works with guitarist Brad Mahon.
