Welcome to julymoon.com. I created julymoon.com to be a straightforward financial planning and investing site. In my almost 20 years of assisting individuals in lifeskill, employment, and budget planning, I have learned that what you need to do with your money has more to do with where you are in the socio-economic ladder than what the financial planning textbooks usually acknowlege. Most aspects of financial planning are simple, but hard to do. You won't find wonder cures for financial ills here. What you will hopefully find is a distillation of practical experience and textbook concepts that are incorporated into a way of thinking about money that relates to real lives.
I write about what its like to be an investor for investors. I comment on what I think the "smart thing" is to do depending on where you are in your financial development, not leaving out the fact that most of us have real lives with financial obligations that families and real lives demand. Hopefully, I can shed some light on how to get through life and hopefully do well financially at the same time. I won't be recommending hot stocks or espousing any get rich quick scheme, its just not in me to do. I will be talking about how to gain wealth slowly, considering all avenues open to us, from how to best utilize income, to conserving expenditures.
