Download the 'projection .xls' spreadsheet. The left most column is the column that needs data. Enter the current amount of money you have invested over the words CURRENT AMOUNT, overwrite the words - no letters should be left. Amounts are in thousands, so a '10' is $10 ,000. Below, enter the amount you intend to add yearly to your investments over ANNUAL ADDITION. The default annual percentage is 0.08 percent (8%). You can type in a different annual percentage to see what happens, just use the same format as shown (0.09,0.10, 0.11, etc.) Press enter. The top line tells you what you would have a the end of 15 years. The bottom line tells you the original capital of what you put in to get the top amount. |
