GOOD MORNING PROGRAM (GMP)

The Good Morning Program is a free service provided by Seniors Outreach Society (SOS). Clients registered for the program are telephoned for a daily check on their well being.  The service is provided between 9am and 11am Monday to Friday at a mutually agreeable time If the volunteer caller is unable to reach the senior, an emergency protocol is then followed.

The service is ideal for seniors who do not have any local family or support to check on them, even on a temporary basis. The service may be discontinued when the senior is away and resumed when they return, provided SOS office has been notified.

The GMP is made possible through the dedication of our friendly, cheerful volunteers who enjoy making the morning call as much as the clients that receive them.
