I have built a Southwest Greenland style Kayak using instructions from a Sea Kayaker article by Christopher Cunningham.

This Kayak is 19" wide, 18' long and is about 8 1/2" in depth at the cockpit. Gunwales and

deck beams are spruce and the ribs are red Oak. This was a great project. I have since

helped a friend build a kayak and have plans for another style (or two).

 Finally, something that looks like a Kayak I used #10 Cotton Duck and Airplane dope to finish it.
