profile of Karen Campbell, principal of KC Concepts
Karen has made excellence in customer service paramount throughout her career. She received accolades in her early career as a programmer, cards & flowers of gratitude from clients when she was a systems analyst for Texas Instruments, and enjoyed the repeat business of major Vancouver accounts when she sold HP computers & printers (for a time she was called “the LaserJet lady” and was known to rewrite printer drivers to make special fonts available to her customers). In addition to strong technical skills, she developed a solid business understanding through later positions in sales & marketing management. It came to her attention that many organizations do not communicate their unique advantages effectively. For over 10 years now, Karen has focused on enabling clarity and understanding in business communications. She has developed effective and convincing communications targeted at both external business audiences and internal employee audiences. Her clients have ranged from small startups to large national corporations. And as an avid traveller with an appreciation for the written word, she occasionally combines her interests through travel writing.
