July 2008 Black-Bay Pure Spanish Colt

WOW...this colt takes your breath away!  Fuego is a large black-bay colt born on July 2, 2008, with a blaze and 3 white socks.  He's tall, has excellent bone, a substantially wide chest, rounded croup, an elegant neck, and a very nice, big shoulder.   He is friendly, curious, has lots of brio, and is extremely willing to please.

Fuego has the bloodlines to be a successful performance horse.  His sire, Feudal VIII, is a 16.2hh black PRE imported and revised stallion.  Feudal carries Guardiola lineage on his sire's side which means all the strength and power of many generations of extremely functional horses.  On Feudal's dam's side, there is a good amount of Bocado blood, which accounts for Feudal's extreme beauty. Feudal has an impressive show record with many successes in both open and breed shows in dressage.

Fuego's dam, Falina CH, has the blood of several outstanding breeders in her veins...Cardenas, Escalera, Terry, Paco Lazo, and Yeguada Militar.   Falina is by the black PRE stallion, Guarapo, who was imported from Mexico to the US as a weanling.  Guarapo's sire, Genil, was a pure Bocado/Terry stallion bred by Miguel Cardenas in Spain.  Genil was a Champion of Champions in both Spain and Mexico.

Falina's dam Catalina Real, is by Canastero IX, a stallion bred by Francisco Lazo Diaz, and is half brother to the renowned stallion, Cordobes XX.  Catalina's dam, Espanola de la Parra, was bred by The Parra's of San Antonio, Texas, as was Espanola's sire, Boticario.  Boticario was the 1991 IALHA National Champion Halter Stallion, was a multiple movement champion, was trained to High-School dressage, and was featured in the book by Robert Vavra entitled "Horses of the Sun".

October 2009

This colt is bred for performance and is looking for that special person to take him to the top.  He carries black (DNA colour tested EEAa so can produce it if bred to it).  He has a super neck/headset, large shoulder, wide chest, good bone, and a nice rounded croup.  He halters, leads, ties, is good with his feet.  If he wasn't related to two of my mares, I would keep this guy!  He's a fantastic performance and stallion prospect ....he's got tons of presence.

$12,000.00 until December 31st, 2009 (After January 1st, 2010, its $15,000.00)
