Iluminado, aka "Louie", was born on December 27, 2011, and is a gorgeous big black colt. He has great bone, straight legs, a nice big shoulder, and a very Spanish profile. The only white he has is a small star like his sire. Louie is bred for performance and comes from a long line of athletic and high-performing champion horses. He has been unbelievably bold and curious from the moment he was born and will be an absolute dream horse for a savvy competitive rider. He also has some rare black lines in Canada so he'd be a great addition to your bloodstock. Louie should mature to at least 15.3hh-16.0hh and be a very round, big-bodied baroque-style Spanish horse at maturity. Check back often for updated photos.

Louie's
dam, Incendia FE, is a very round baroque
style mare. She is performance bred and has a wonderful sense
of humour. She is a very willing and people-oriented rare Gavilan
IV daughter so the prospect of a foal from
Indy is an amazing opportunity! Gavilan IV is a 16.2hh
red bay imported
PRE stallion who has excelled in open dressage competition in
California. Read more about Indy on
her page. |

Louie's sire, Hercules G, is a 16.0hh homozygous black revised PRE Andalusian stallion. Herc carries with him some very distinguished and powerful performance bloodlines that are rare in North America. His bloodlines are not only rare for any pure Spanish horse in North America, but his lines are extremely rare for a Spanish horse that is BLACK. Read more about Herc on his page. |
