NetAcquire has been designed to be as easy to use as possible. Incorporated into this are the following features.
NetAcquire retains last-used values for the following:
Window positions/sizes
Communications window values.
NetAcquire prevents accidental user actions by not changing the active window when a user action is required. If the action is via a popup window, it will make the window visible and alert the user with a beep.
To start typing a chat message, the user does not have to manually move the cursor to the text-entry area of the Lobby or Game Room. Simply typing text into the keyboard will auto-switch the user to the active chat window's text area. This behaviour does not occur when a popup window is active though.
NetAcquire will alert a user by beeping whenever a user action is needed. This includes the following situations:
The start of a player's turn in a game.
When a player must dispose of shares after a merger and the player is not the one who played the merging tile.
A game popup window appears and the Tile Rack is not the active window.
The user has selected the Beep on Lobby Message option and NetAcquire is not the active application on the user's computer.
