When it is necessary for a player to dispose of their shares after a merger, the Share Disposition Popup Window is displayed. The player selects what to do with the shares that they own and clicks the Ok button.
The window has 3 boxes: Keep, Trade, and Sell. The Keep box shows the shares the player owns and is adjusted automatically as the player trades or sells shares. The Keep and Trade boxes are colored with the hotel chain colors involved.
Keep - Display-only box showing the number of shares that the player owns. It indicates the number of shares the player will retain after clicking Ok. There is also an All button that restores the kept count back to the amount when the window was first displayed.
Trade - Box that is used to specify the number of shares to be traded for shares in the merger survivor. The player may click the up-down button to increase/decrease the number of shares to be traded. There is also a Maximum button which automatically sets the trade amount to the maximum allowed given the number of shares in the Keep box and shares available to be traded for. The Maximum button is based on the value in the Keep box at the moment the button is pressed.
Sell - Box that is used to specify the number of shares to be sold for cash. The player may click the up-down button to increase/decrease the number of shares to be sold. There is also a Remaining button which automatically sets the sold number to all the remaining shares. The Remaining button is based on the value in the Keep box at the moment the button is pressed.
Ok - Push button to finalize the disposition of shares.
