I don't see this nudibranch very often, so it's always a treat to find it. It can be found on sandy bottoms where it searches for its favourite food, the sea pen. Probably it spends most of its time burried in the sand. Maximum size is around 3 inches
Beachwalkers Info:
This animal does not usually inhabit the intertidal zone so you are very unlikely to find it beachwalking or tidepooling.
