| Copper rockfish |
 |
| Latin Name: |
Sebastes caurinus |
| Geographic Range: |
Range is from Alaska to Baja. |
| SCUBA Divers Info: |
| This is a very common rockfish usually found in quieter water along walls or in kelp. It is one of the rockfish that does not usually school as an adult. A giant might be two feet long but most that I see are closer to one foot in length. |
Beachwalkers Info: |
| This animal does not normally inhabit the intertidal zone so you are very unlikely to find it beachwalking or tidepooling. |
