Diomedes nudibranch

Latin Name: Tritonia diomedea
Geographic Range: Range is from Alaska to Panama and over to Florida in the Atlantic.
SCUBA Divers Info:
A big nudibranch (10-12 inches max). It's colour can be anywhere from red to pale almost white. It does not have the markings of the Festive tritonia. it eats sea pens and other cnidarians and is found on most often on muddy bottoms where it searches for sea pens.
**B**Beachwalkers Info:
This animal does not normally inhabit the intertidal zone so you are very unlikely to find it beachwalking or tidepooling.
