Latin Name: Dendronotus diversicolor
Geographic Range: Range is from Alaska to California
SCUBA Divers Info:
Despite its common name this dendronotid is often white (as shown) but its body colour can range from white through several pastel shades of pink or mauve, the gills are always white tipped. Not especially common this animal may prefer current swept areas. To find it look for its food the Seafir hydroid.
**B**Beachwalkers Info:
This animal does not usually inhabit the intertidal zone so you are very unlikely to find it beachwalking or tidepooling.
