| Golden dirona |
 |
| Latin Name: |
dirona aurantia |
| Geographic Range: |
Range is from Alaska to Puget Sound. |
| SCUBA Divers Info: |
| This is a relatively rare dirona. You can tell it from the alabaster dirona since the cerata had a more rounded shape and there are white spots on the body. The colour is always a orange to golden. having said it is rare I did on one dive find over 20 of these fellows in a very small area, maybe they were preparing to mate? |
Beachwalkers
Info: |
| This animal does not normally inhabit the intertidal zone
so you are very unlikely to find it beachwalking or tidepooling. |
| Mollusk |
