Latin Name: dirona aurantia
Geographic Range: Range is from Alaska to Puget Sound.
SCUBA Divers Info:
This is a relatively rare dirona. You can tell it from the alabaster dirona since the cerata had a more rounded shape and there are white spots on the body. The colour is always a orange to golden. having said it is rare I did on one dive find over 20 of these fellows in a very small area, maybe they were preparing to mate?
**B**Beachwalkers Info:
This animal does not normally inhabit the intertidal zone so you are very unlikely to find it beachwalking or tidepooling.
